Winter Proven
GT Grooming Trailers builds the most winter-approved grooming salons on the market. Colorado's weather extremes have forced GT to build a trailer to accommodate 100+ degree days and sub-freezing temperatures alike.
Generator
Because Onan generators are of the highest quality, they are built with a protective shroud. Having a shroud keeps the generator safe from road debris and weather, thereby saving you expensive maintenance bills in the future.
Equipment Placement
We install our hot water heater on the side of our trailer. Our design protects the operations of equipment because road debris cannot clog up propane manifolds, electronics, and other delicate areas. Instead of mounting these items on the front of the trailer, we install a stone-guard for added protection and to ensure a long life for your grooming trailer.
Trailer Width
Our grooming trailer is ideal for winter conditions because of its width. The trailer tires are set to line up with the tires of your primary vehicle. This allows all six tires to share the same ruts when driving in snow! Larger trailers tend to fishtail on snow because they create their own ruts.
Dipped Chassis
The GT grooming trailer frame is dipped in a protective coating. This provides extra protection from salt, water, and mag-chloride.
Water Tanks
We install our water tanks on the interior of the trailer. Designing tanks to be installed in this fashion is more difficult, but is needed in colder climates. Tanks that are mounted in the frame (under the floor) of the trailer are more exposed to cold, which forces your hot water heater to work harder. A poorly placed water tank is also much more prone to freezing.
